For over 44 years, Jene Wah has been a cornerstone of social service in San Joaquin County, dedicated to serving the Chinese American community. Founded by Henry Yip, Ray Wong Quen, and Samuel Chan, this grass-roots organization has been providing essential support to elderly Chinese Americans, helping them navigate social, medical, and government services despite language barriers.

The new Community Center will further Jene Wah’s mission to offer vital, accessible services to those in need. This groundbreaking ceremony marks a new chapter in their commitment to empowering the community.
